We are a woman-owned, woman-employed and sister-led small business, built around a simple belief: India's extraordinary textile traditions deserve to be preserved, celebrated and experienced by a new generation of women.
Our sarees are sourced from Banaras, where weaving is more than a craft. It is knowledge passed from one generation to another — through hands, homes, families and communities.
Kaashi Banaras exists at the meeting point of those two worlds: the heritage of the artisan and the individuality of the woman who wears it.
Our philosophy

We believe the future of Indian craft lies not only in preserving traditional techniques, but in making them meaningful to contemporary lives. That is why our collections move between the classic and the unexpected — between rich Katan silks and airy tissues, intricate zari and minimal motifs, ceremonial heirlooms and sarees that can be worn simply because you love them.

Kaashi Banaras honours the artisans whose knowledge gives Banarasi textiles their identity. From preparing the loom and translating motifs into weave to working zari through silk, the making of a saree can involve immense patience, precision and skill.
